A New Name Rise In Barcelona FC

One more name that emerged from Barcelona B after today we know the new young star, Isaac Cuenca, is the younger brother of Thiago Alcantara named Rafael Alcantara, or fondly called Rafinha. He played for Barca B in Segunda Division as a midfielder.

Barcelona reached an agreement yesterday with Rafinha to renew his contract until the 2013-2014 season. The new contract would be signed next Monday.

Rafinha, was born in San Paulo, started playing soccer at the youth squad of Flamengo. After his father move to Valencia, Alcantara family following to Spanish Mediterranean city, and finally life in Vigo. Moment in Vigo, Rafinha, who was then aged 13 years, began practicing with a young squad Celta before moving to Barcelona youth team. Now he has exceeded six seasons with FC Barcelona.

Since starting to play for Barca, Rafinha is constantly increasing that seemed unstoppable. Rafinha used to be a key player in the squad treble Oscar Garcia Junyent's U-17 in the 2010/2011 season. Rafinha played in two games under coach Luis Enrique. Rafinha total of nine games played in the reserves in the 2010/2011 season, and scored his first goal against Salamanca.
