England 1 - 0 Spain ( Friendly Match )

Although appearing dominant, the Spanish national team had to swallow a bitter pill when they travel to Wembley Stadium to face England in the test match on Saturday or Sunday (11/13/2011) early morning hrs. "La Furia Roja" forced 0-1 defeat by England single goal by Frank Lampard early in the second half.

In the first half, Spain immediately appear dominant. Based on available statistics, the Spanish succeeded in doing the experiment eight times. Unfortunately, only one that leads to the goal. Compare with England who only have one chance to threaten the Spanish goal.

Control of the ball also won by Spain. Vicente Del Bosque's forces controlled the ball as much as 70 percent. However, these advantages can not make Spain scored the goal against England. This is due to play disciplined troops from Fabio Capello. The result, until the end of the first round, 0-0 position remained unchanged.

Spain continued to press early in the second half. Yet, ironically, it was England who scored in the 48th minute. Starting from a James Milner free-kick, Darren Bent grabbed the ball with a header. The ball did hit the goalpost, but then bounce into the middle of the goal. While goalkeeper Pepe Reina fell headlong chase the ball, Frank Lampard who was in the right position when the ball came and snatched a goal with a header.

Left behind one goal, Spain further enhance their press. Xabi Alonso et al forcing "The Three Lions" persist in their area without being able to attack. However, the same as the first half, the England players still appear discipline in keeping the goal of being broken.

Changes made Vicente Del Bosque by including Fernando Torres and Santi Carzola add power to their front-line press did not give meaningful effect. They remain difficult to penetrate the defense in depth is applied by the host.

The best opportunities obtained through the action of Spain's Cesc Fabregas in the 88th minute and 89th. Unfortunately, at the first opportunity, Fabregas effort could be thwarted by Joe Hart. The second occasion failed to be converted into a goal after the ball is only deviated slightly on the left side against England.
