Ferguson Will Not Buy New Player In January

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Manchester United (MU) will not make a purchase players in January transfer window.

Speculation Manchester United will spend half the players on the transfer market is now starting out the season after they defeated City 1-6 at Old Trafford last. This speculation intensified when the Champions League finalists were only able to play the series 2-2 over the representative of Portugal, Benfica at home.

Touted Red Devils midfielder will spend to fill the position of the three footballers those currently injured. However, Sir Alex denies that he will buy players to fill the position of Tom Cleverley, Anderson or even Ashley Young who is currently struggling with injuries.

"Easy it said it would buy a player, but it was not an easy thing to buy them for Manchester United, especially in January," said Fergie.

"I also have not looked at any of the players who can make us a better team."

Actually, Fergie was interested in several players. However, because it is not possible his favourite player released by his club, he would prefer to maintain the composition of the Red Devils squad that exist.

"There were two or three players, but they are not available, so there is no direction to it (the purchase of players)," he concluded.
