Sunderland Association Football Club

Sunderland Association Football Club is an English football club based in the city of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, and was founded in 1879. Their uniforms were red and white, so this is why they nicknamed the Black Cats (Black Cat).

Before World War II, Sunderland won the Premier League six times that in 1892, 1893, 1895, 1902, 1913, 1936, where they became the last team to wear costumes strips that have won the League. In fact, this team became the first team was elected to the football league in 1890 in which newly formed in 1888. Statistically, Sunderland including the sixth most successful club in English league history.
