After Shanghai Shenhua hook Nicolas Anelka, the club rival, Guangzhou Evergrande, intend holding Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba. Guangzhou Evergrande was making a bid that is more dramatic than Shanghai Shenhua to bring Drogba to China.
Yangcheng Evening News said, Guangzhou Evergrande intend to bring in players from France's Asian Champions League ahead of next year. However, China's Super League champions declined to comment when questioned by AFP.
